A Free How To Manual and methods to be successful with a new or existing Cafepress store. We have created this guide to assist you in making money online with the print on demand company Cafepress.com.

Helping you sign up with Cafepress, create a t-shirt shop, set up your computer to properly store your designs, create shirt designs and icons, upload your designs into Cafepress and place your designs on products within the Cafepress.com marketplace to make money. We also provide tips with helping create designs that will make you money and show you the mistakes we made along the way.

A little about Cafepress.com and their pricing structure. Cafepress has changed their policies on how stores are paid. There is still good profit potential in their pricing structure, but it’s not what it used to be. After starting my store just over a year ago, I am still generating approximately $1500.00 a month with their new policies in place. Do not expect to make this amount in the beginning. I believe the first month my store was open, I made just enough to cover the premium store fee, which is approximately $5.00 a month. This premium store fee allows you to create and upload unlimited designs into a url provided by Cafepress, a store design template (also provided by Cafepress), and they also print, ship and handle all returns. This means after you create a design and place it on products within the Cafepress marketplace and your store using the online product creator, you do nothing else. They handle all aspects of orders, printing, shipping and returns. Cafepress pays you on a percentage of the order. They set the prices for all products and pay you 10% of the order. Which means if a person finds your design in the marketplace and purchases a sweatshirt with your design for $28.00, you make $2.80 on the order.

There is another way to make money on Cafepress. By setting up your own domain, for example www.myshirts.com, and place your Cafepress store within it, then you are able to set your own commission price for all purchases made from your www.myshirts.com domain. For example every sale that is made on www.myshirts.com, you make your set commission, let’s say $6.00 instead of $1.50 that is derived from the 10% markup.

Keep in mind, after you place your design on the products, that design can make money for you forever, without any more work. I currently have approximately 200 designs in my store working for me. I had set a goal of creating and uploading 4 designs a week for the first year. To learn more and for the complete Free How To Cafepress guide please visit our site at moneymakingideasguru.
