Set up your post URLs so that the titles show up in the URLs. This will help you rank better for the keywords you have used in your title. You will have to go into the settings for your blogging platform to change the formatting of the URLs.

Now, you’ll either have to sell something on your blog or display ads such as Adsense, where you get paid if someone clicks. If you choose to sell something, you can either create a product of your own or sell someone else’s through an affiliate program.

The last thing you need to do is promote the heck out of your blog. You can do this by telling people about your blog, adding the URL to your signature whenever you send an e-mail or post in a forum and commenting on other people’s blogs. You can also submit articles to article directories and put your link in the resource box. Doing all of these things will help you make money blogging, but don’t expect to make a fortune overnight. It is likely that the amount of income you make will start out very small and grow steadily over time.
